Job Summary

- Infinity Crest Group is looking for an experienced Factory Operations Manager / Production Manager / Production Head to manage and oversee complete manufacturing operations at our food production facility.
- The ideal candidate must have strong previous experience in the Parotta and Chapathi manufacturing industry and should have hands-on experience managing factory-floor production, manpower, machinery, quality, food safety, production planning and operational efficiency.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple production shifts, leading production teams, achieving daily production targets, reducing wastage and downtime, implementing SOPs, improving productivity and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Factory Operations Plan, schedule and execute daily, weekly and monthly production. Manage production operations across multiple shifts. Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. Monitor productivity, yield, efficiency, wastage and downtime. Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with Quality, Procurement, Maintenance and Logistics teams.
2. Parotta & Chapathi Production Manage end-to-end production processes for Parotta and Chapathi products. Ensure consistency in product quality, texture, size and production output. Optimize production processes and manpower utilization. Minimize production losses, wastage, rejection and rework. Ensure proper implementation of production SOPs and work instructions.
3. Food Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and ISO food safety standards. Maintain hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards on the factory floor. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues. Support internal and external audits.



Ensure timely closure of audit observations and corrective actions.
4. Manpower Management Lead and manage Production Supervisors, Operators and Shop-Floor Workers. Manage approximately 50–100 employees. Plan manpower allocation according to production requirements. Monitor attendance, productivity, performance and discipline. Train employees on production processes, hygiene, safety and SOPs. Build a strong and accountable production team.
5. Machinery & Maintenance Ensure efficient operation of production machinery and equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Minimize machine downtime and production interruptions. Monitor preventive maintenance schedules. Identify recurring machinery issues and support root-cause analysis.
6. Raw Material, Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.Coordinate with Procurement for timely material availability.Control material wastage and production losses.Improve production yield and reduce manufacturing costs.Monitor production consumption and inventory levels.
7. MIS & ReportingPrepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports.Track production KPIs including yield, efficiency, wastage, downtime and manpower productivity.Provide production performance reports to management.Maintain proper production and compliance documentation.Use MS Excel, ERP/MIS and other reporting tools as required.8.

Process

ImprovementStandardize production processes and implement SOPs.Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.Improve productivity and production efficiency.Reduce wastage, downtime, rework and production losses.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Required Qualification Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in: Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field.

Required Experience





8–15 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing / production / factory operations.

Mandatory: Previous hands-on experience in Parotta and Chapathi manufacturing/production. Experience managing 50–100 employees. Strong experience in production planning and shop-floor management. Experience managing multiple production shifts. Experience in food safety, hygiene and quality compliance.

Has experience handling multiple shifts. Can achieve daily production targets under pressure. Has strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Can implement SOPs and improve production processes.Has excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Is comfortable working in a rapid-paced food manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefit Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month PF & ESI – Applicable as per company policy and Performance-based benefits as per company policy 6 working days per week Flexible / Shift-based working hours
