Position: Production Manager

Location: Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience: 5 - 6 Years

Industries: Steel

Responsibilities:

- Plan, manage, and monitor daily steel production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure production as per quality, quantity, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Manage manpower, machines, raw materials, and production schedules.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Reduce production losses, rejection, wastage, and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise performance data.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5S,



safety, and EHS procedures.
- Lead and motivate production supervisors and operators.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and production operations.
- Positive manpower and production planning skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under production targets and in shifts when required.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
