Job Summary

PROTEC is looking for an experienced Production Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in the automotive component / bearing industry to manage day-to-day production activities and ensure achievement of Production, Quality, Delivery and Productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily production as per production targets and schedules.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of production machines and processes.
- Monitor production, productivity, rejection, downtime and OEE.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per quality standards and process requirements.
- Identify and reduce production losses, rejection and rework.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
- Ensure proper manpower utilization and work allocation.
- Monitor machine performance and resolve production-related issues.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyze production problems and support root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and work instructions.




- Maintain daily production reports and other required records.
- Train and guide operators for improved productivity and quality.

Preferred Experience Candidates having experience in auto components, bearing components or precision engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience in processes such as grinding, turning, heat treatment, forging/header, CNC, inspection or other mass-production processes will be an advantage.
