Job Overview
- Role: Automotive Production Shop Floor Engineer
- Objective: Ensure protected, efficient, and high-quality auto-component manufacturing.
- Reports to: Production Manager / Plant Head
Key Responsibilities
- Line Supervision: Monitor assembly lines and daily production schedules to meet output goals.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve machine breakdowns and process bottlenecks quickly to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Enforce standards, check defects, and use root cause analysis tools like 5-Why or Fishbone.
- Resource Management: Optimize manpower, materials, and machinery while keeping work-in-progress (WIP) stock low.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain 5S, IMS (Integrated Management System), and strict automotive safety regulations
