Product Validation Scientist – Field Trials | Agronomy

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Validation Scientist to join our Field Trial Department. The role will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and validating field trials to evaluate product performance and support agricultural product development and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and design field trials in line with R&D; objectives.
- Select suitable trial locations, crops and trial protocols.
- Manage field-trial setup, product application and agronomic activities.
- Monitor trials and ensure proper implementation and data collection.
- Collect, analyze and interpret data related to crop performance, pest/disease incidence, soil health and yield.
- Evaluate product performance and efficacy under different field conditions.
- Benchmark product performance against standard and competitor products.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations based on trial findings.
- Maintain accurate field records and photographic documentation.




- Coordinate with R&D; and cross-functional teams during field-trial activities.
- Travel extensively and work across different agro-climatic regions.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Agronomy and Plant Physiology.
- Hands-on experience in field trials / product validation / agronomic trials.
- Experience with biopesticides, biostimulants or agro-input testing will be preferred.
- Good data interpretation and statistical analysis skills.
- Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field trials.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in agricultural field trials, crop trials, product efficacy testing, agro-input validation, biostimulants, biopesticides or R&D; field research are encouraged to apply.

Education: Ph.D. in Agronomy or Plant Physiology preferred

Relevant Experience: 2+ years

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
