About The Job:

- Experience: 8-12 Years
- Client is looking for a dynamic Product Security Engineer / Product Cybersecurity Lead to strengthen product-related cybersecurity initiatives across engineering and product teams.
- The role will partner with development organizations to embed security-by-design practices, improve product security posture, drive awareness, and support secure engineering decision-making across global teams.
- The position will work closely with engineering and product stakeholders to proactively identify and address cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.

Essential Job Functions:

- Ensure and drive product-related security activities across engineering and product teams.
- Increase product security awareness within development teams.
- Analyze, track, and remediate product-related threats, vulnerabilities, security gaps, and security risks.
- Maintain cybersecurity processes and security monitoring systems/tools.
- Support development teams through security assessments, analyses, and threat modeling activities.
- Collaborate closely with worldwide engineering and product teams across the US, Hungary, and India.




- Enable proactive identification and remediation of security threats throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support secure engineering decision-making and promote security-by-design principles.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

- Experience analyzing, detecting, and remediating cybersecurity issues.
- Experience in security, network administration, system administration, software development, or equivalent disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Practical hands-on experience in complex system development environments.
- Strong product security knowledge and security-first mindset.
- Experience with STIG compliance, vulnerability assessments, CVE tracking, and security gap analysis.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate the impact of system changes, defects, and technology decisions.
- Robust verbal and written English communication skills.
