Company Description Summit Works Technology (SWTech Labs) is a boutique software engineering firm that builds mission-critical enterprise systems for organizations that demand high reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability. The company works primarily through referrals and long-term relationships, embedding deeply with client teams and taking technical ownership of complex platforms.

The job

Turn a set of priorities into specifications an engineer can build from, and keep the numbers that tell everyone whether it worked. Two to Five years of experience is the expectation; curiosity and clear writing matter more than a title history.

What you own

- Specifications the engineer can build from without a meeting — including edge cases, empty states and failure paths, which is where most junior specs fall short.
- Release coordination and quality checks. Nothing ships without someone using it end to end first, and that someone is you.
- Match rate and time-to-match. You will not own the strategy that moves them, but you own knowing where they stand and why they moved.
- Taxonomy maintenance — one controlled vocabulary for stage, sector, format and funding type. Providers select from it; they never invent tags.
- User research.



Tens of founder interviews in month one, then a standing cadence. This is the fastest way for you to build judgement, and the fastest way for us to learn.
- Working with the Data Analyst on the weekly pack, with metric definitions signed off by the GM.
- This is not the complete list. Chance to work on other related/adjacent projects.

What we are looking for

- Two to five years in product, associate product, business analysis, or a founding role at something small.
- Writes unusually clearly. Send us a spec, a teardown or a piece of analysis we weight this above your CV.
- Basic SQL, or the demonstrated ability to learn it inside a month. You will pull your own numbers.
- Detail-obsessive about flows. If you have ever filed a bug report nobody asked you to file, mention it.
- Comfortable being the most junior person in most conversations, and asking the question anyway.
- Experience working with latest AI tools.
