DESCRIPTION The Procurement Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement and vendor development for pharmaceutical products, raw materials, packaging materials and third-party/contract manufacturing requirements.

The role includes identifying and evaluating suitable manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating prices and commercial terms, managing product costing and purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials and finished products. The candidate will coordinate closely with production, quality, regulatory, sales and finance teams to ensure supplies meet required quality standards, documentation requirements, timelines and commercial objectives.

The role will also involve developing alternate vendors, improving procurement costs, monitoring vendor performance, managing lead times and resolving supply-related issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors/Masters degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Science, Commerce or a related field. 8-10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor development and/or third-party manufacturing.





Strong experience in pharma product sourcing, manufacturer identification, price negotiation, costing, purchase planning and vendor management. Valuable understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, COAs, specifications, quality documentation and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Experience in coordinating with third-party manufacturers and suppliers for timely production and dispatch is essential. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors and requirements simultaneously.
