Role Description The Procurement Officer role at Fricap Security Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.

The Procurement

Officer will manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing vendors, requesting and evaluating quotations, and preparing purchase orders in alignment with project and organizational requirements. Daily responsibilities include negotiating contracts and pricing, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation. The role involves close coordination with internal stakeholders such as project, finance, and operations teams to forecast needs, optimize purchasing decisions, and support cost-effective, compliant procurement activities.

Officer will also monitor supplier performance, address issues related to quality or delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing end-to-end purchasing cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, including terms, pricing, and service levels with suppliers.
- Well-developed analytical skills for evaluating quotations, comparing suppliers, and optimizing cost and quality.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and basic supply chain principles.
- Experience in security, fire safety, infrastructure, or related technical industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office and procurement or ERP software tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
