- Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing of Mangoes, Tamarind, Coconut and other F&B; raw materials/ingredients.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, aggregators, processors, traders and suppliers.

- Build a robust and diversified supplier network to ensure uninterrupted raw material availability.

- Understand seasonality, crop cycles, market prices, availability and quality parameters of agricultural commodities.

- Should also understand Pesticide free sourcing.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and supply agreements with suppliers.

- Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and alternate sourcing opportunities.

- Plan procurement requirements based on production forecasts, inventory levels and business demand.

- Monitor commodity price movements and provide insights to the business for procurement planning.

- Ensure raw materials meet defined quality, food safety and regulatory specifications.

- Work closely with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Finance and R&D; teams to ensure seamless procurement.

- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while continuously assessing existing supplier performance.

- Develop procurement strategies for seasonal commodities and ensure adequate availability during peak periods.

- Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery timelines, pricing and service levels.





- Identify opportunities for direct sourcing, backward integration and long-term supplier partnerships.

- Maintain appropriate procurement documentation, contracts, purchase orders and supplier records.

- Track procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, quality, OTIF delivery and inventory levels.

Key Requirements

- 812 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing within F&V;, FMCG, Food Processing or related industries.

- Mandatory: Strong procurement experience in Mangoes, Tamarind and Coconut.

- Academic background in Agriculture (BSc / MSc) is preferred though not mandatory.

- Strong understanding of agricultural commodities, sourcing markets, seasonality and price fluctuations.

- Established network of suppliers, traders, processors, aggregators and/or farmers.

- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.

- Experience in commodity price benchmarking and cost optimization.

- Positive understanding of food quality standards and raw material specifications.

- Strong analytical, vendor management and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to independently manage procurement and take ownership of sourcing decisions.

- Candidates from food processing, fruit pulp, beverages, sauces, condiments, frozen foods, ingredients or similar F&V; businesses would be preferred.
