Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies and processes aligned with business objectives.

- Lead the overall Procurement, Purchase, Supply Chain and Logistics functions.

- Identify, evaluate, qualify and onboard new vendors and suppliers as per company requirements.

- Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, quality, payment terms, contracts and delivery schedules.

- Monitor market trends, product pricing and supplier developments to identify sourcing opportunities.

- Plan and manage procurement, demand, material and supply requirements to ensure uninterrupted availability.

- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, stock movement and working capital.

- Drive cost reduction, cost optimization and procurement efficiency without compromising quality.

- Ensure all procured products meet defined quality, regulatory and business standards.

- Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality and service levels, and take corrective actions where required.

- Manage procurement budgets and prepare MIS, inventory, cost-saving and performance reports for management.

- Improve vendor credit terms, payment cycles and working capital through effective negotiations.

- Identify and mitigate procurement and supply-chain risks to ensure business continuity.

- Lead,



mentor and develop the procurement team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Warehouse and Logistics teams for smooth end-to-end operations.

- Leverage ERP/SAP, Advanced Excel and procurement analytics for planning, monitoring and decision-making.

- For the preferred industry, manage sourcing and procurement of Pooja Samagri products within an E-Commerce environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile Naukri

- Graduate with MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or related field.

- 8–11 years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain.

- 2–3 years of experience as HOD / Procurement Head in a similar industry.

- Strong experience in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, Cost Negotiation and Inventory Management.

- Experience in E-Commerce procurement is preferred.

- Candidates with specific experience in Pooja Samagri / religious products procurement will be highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics and Working Capital Management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP, Advanced Excel, MIS and procurement analytics.

- Solid leadership, communication, negotiation, planning and business acumen.

- Age preference: 33–36 years.
