Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer - Assembly Maintenance to support and maintain automated assembly line equipment through effective preventive and predictive maintenance practices. The role will be responsible for ensuring machine uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency by carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, troubleshooting automation systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates with experience in the Automotive Component Manufacturing Industry and exposure to assembly line automation will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for assembly line machinery and equipment.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime through effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
- Maintain and improve performance of automated assembly lines, conveyors, testing stations, and special-purpose machines.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for machine breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor machine health and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules and closure of maintenance work orders.




- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
- Maintain maintenance records, machine history, spare parts inventory, and PM checklists.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and qualification of new machinery and automation systems.
- Drive TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities to improve OEE and equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust experience in Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance of Assembly Line Machinery.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Mitsubishi PLC Panels.
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Yaskawa Robots.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
- Good knowledge of electrical control circuits, industrial automation, sensors, servo drives, VFDs, motors, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in machine health monitoring and reliability improvement.
