Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Pro Vice Chancellor The Pro Vice Chancellor will assist the Vice Chancellor in driving the academic, administrative, and strategic functions of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. The PVC will play a pivotal role in academic leadership, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and quality enhancement initiatives, contributing to the university's vision of excellence in education, research, and innovation.

- Assist in formulating and executing academic and administrative policies.
- Promote research, innovation, and quality education across departments.
- Ensure compliance with UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory standards.
- Strengthen national and international academic collaborations.
- Mentor faculty and staff for academic and professional growth.
- Support student-centric initiatives for holistic development.




- Represent the university in academic forums and regulatory meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a proven academic and research record.
- At least 15 years of experience in higher education leadership or senior academic positions.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation, regulatory frameworks, and institutional governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
