Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Private Hosting Solution Architect to design, architect, and provide technical leadership for enterprise private and hybrid hosting environments. The role will focus on developing scalable, secure, highly available, and standardized hosting solutions and integrating application workloads into enterprise infrastructure platforms.

The architect will work closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, network, security, operations, and business teams to define architecture strategies, technical roadmaps, migration approaches, and reusable hosting patterns.

Key Responsibilities

Design and define end-to-end private hosting and hybrid cloud architectures.

Provide architecture guidance for onboarding application workloads onto enterprise hosting platforms.

Develop HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, technical standards, solution patterns, and implementation roadmaps.

Analyze current infrastructure and identify technical debt, architecture gaps, integration challenges, and modernization opportunities.

Design solutions covering compute, virtualization, storage, networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and shared services.

Define scalable and reusable hosting patterns for enterprise applications.

Support application migration, workload onboarding, data-center transformation, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Ensure integration with identity, network, security, storage, backup, monitoring, and enterprise shared services.

Evaluate workload requirements and recommend appropriate hosting platforms and infrastructure services.

Drive infrastructure standardization, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions are operationally ready.

Define architecture requirements for availability,



resiliency, performance, capacity, security, RPO/RTO, and disaster recovery.

Support integration of private hosting environments with public cloud platforms where required.

Participate in architecture reviews, technical workshops, design sessions, and governance meetings.

Work with vendors and technology partners for solution evaluation and technical validation.

Provide technical leadership during implementation, migration, testing, and production transition.

Identify opportunities to reuse standardized platforms, services, automation, and architecture patterns.

Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and technology standards.

Required Technical Skills Strong experience in Private Cloud / Private Hosting Architecture.

Expertise in enterprise infrastructure and data-center architecture.

Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter or equivalent virtualization platforms.

Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX, vSAN is preferred.

Good understanding of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup technologies.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, and modern application platforms.

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls, routing, and network security.





Experience with IAM, Active Directory, privileged access, encryption, and security controls.

Strong knowledge of Backup, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, RPO/RTO, and business continuity.

Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms.

Understanding of hybrid-cloud integration with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

Workload Integration & Migration

Assess application workloads for hosting suitability and infrastructure requirements.

Define workload placement and migration strategies.

Support application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration planning.

Develop standardized onboarding patterns for applications.

Coordinate with application teams for infrastructure, security, networking, and operational requirements.

Support migration, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization.

Architecture & Governance

Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures.

Conduct architecture assessments and technical reviews.

Ensure solutions meet security, resiliency, performance, scalability, and operational requirements.

Maintain architecture roadmaps and technology lifecycle plans.

Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Promote reusable and standardized infrastructure solutions.

Required Experience 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, hosting, or solution architecture.

5+ years of experience specifically in private cloud/private hosting architecture.

Experience designing large-scale enterprise infrastructure or data-center environments.

Strong experience working with cross-functional infrastructure and application teams.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
