Role Description This full-time, on-site Pricing – Freight Forwarding role is based in Mumbai and focuses on developing and managing competitive freight rates for international and domestic movements. The role involves preparing quotations, coordinating with carriers and agents, analyzing freight costs, and ensuring pricing accuracy in line with company guidelines.

The Pricing

Specialist will work closely with the operations and customer service teams to respond to inquiries, support bid proposals, and maintain updated rate sheets and tariffs. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring market trends, negotiating rates, optimizing margins, and supporting customers with timely, clear pricing information.



The position requires regular communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding, with a strong understanding of international logistics processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Transportation, including carrier coordination and cost analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in Export operations, including documentation and compliance with trade regulations.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, provide solutions, and maintain professional relationships.
- Relevant experience in pricing or rate management within logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Good analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office software; familiarity with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
