Presales Consultant / Solution Architect - Cloud Migration (DB & App Migration with CSP Experience) Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Presales Consultant / Solution Architect with strong expertise in Database Migration and Application Migration projects involving Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Google. The candidate will work closely with sales, delivery, and customer teams to design scalable migration solutions, drive technical discussions, prepare proposals, and support end-to-end presales activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand existing infrastructure, applications, and database environments.
- Lead presales discussions for Cloud Transformation, Database Migration, and Application Migration initiatives.
- Design migration strategies for on-premise to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migration projects.
- Prepare solution architectures, effort estimations, migration approaches, and technical proposals.
- Conduct discovery workshops, assessment studies, and readiness analysis.
- Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to define scalable and cost-effective solutions.
- Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses with technical documentation and solutioning inputs.
- Present migration roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
- Work with CSP-native migration tools and services for assessment and execution planning.
- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.

Required Skills & Experience




- Robust experience in Presales / Solutioning / Consulting roles.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Database Migration Projects
- Application Migration Projects
- Cloud Transformation Initiatives

- Experience working with CSP environments:

- AWS
- Azure
- GCP

- Knowledge of migration methodologies, assessment frameworks, and modernization approaches.
- Understanding of:

- Cloud Architecture
- Hybrid Infrastructure
- Disaster Recovery
- Security & Compliance
- Cost Optimization

- Experience in creating:

- Solution documents
- HLD/LLD
- BOM & estimation
- SOW and migration plans

- Good understanding of enterprise applications, middleware, and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- CSP Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
- Experience in Telecom / BFSI / Enterprise domains is an added advantage.
- Exposure to modernization, containerization, or DevOps practices is preferred.

Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in Cloud Migration Presales / Solutioning.

Location
- Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad (Preferred)

Notice Period
- Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.
