- Coordinate the day-to-day academic and administrative functioning of the Pre-Primary section.
- Guide and mentor Pre-Primary teachers in lesson planning, classroom management and activity-based learning.
- Monitor curriculum implementation, lesson plans, assessments and student progress.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Promote play-based, experiential and child-centred learning practices.
- Plan and coordinate activities, celebrations, assemblies, events and special programmes.
- Maintain academic records, student portfolios, planners and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents and address academic or developmental concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with the Principal and Academic Team for smooth functioning of the section.
- Ensure classrooms are safe, hygienic, well-organised and developmentally appropriate.
- Support teacher training,
orientation and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE guidelines and academic standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate with NTT / ECCEd / Montessori / D.El.Ed / B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Primary teaching, with experience in a Coordinator/Senior Teacher role preferred.
- Solid knowledge of early childhood education and child-centred teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership and team-management skills.
- Creative, organised, patient and passionate about working with young children.
- Ability to effectively handle parents, teachers and school leadership.
