Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence and data visualization, with experience in creating impactful reports and dashboards using Power BI. They will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance BI solutions that transform data into actionable insights while ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain energetic Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
- Create and optimize data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema methodologies.
- Develop advanced calculations using DAX and perform data transformations using Power Query.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, and SAP HANA.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and security across reports and datasets.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Power BI reports, datasets, queries, and models.
- Manage Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Utilize Power BI Copilot and Microsoft Fabric capabilities to improve reporting efficiency and self-service analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP teams, and data engineers to gather and implement reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI role.
- Strong experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and Data Modelling.




- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Oracle.
- Experience integrating Power BI with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BW4HANA, or SAP HANA.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, or Spark.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and visualization best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Valuable to have skills:

- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Copilot, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- Experience with Azure data platforms such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Exposure to AI-powered analytics and Power BI governance best practices.
- Hands-on experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
