We are looking for an experienced POS / Payment Systems Test Engineer with strong expertise in Card & Payment Testing, EMV, POS terminals, transaction processing, and certification testing .

Location : Bangalore

Exp:5+ years

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, system, UAT, and regression testing of POS terminals and payment systems .

• Execute EMV / Chip Card, Contactless/NFC, and Magstripe transaction testing.

• Validate B2B & B2C card transactions and end-to-end payment flows.

• Test Sale, Void, Refund, Pre-Authorization, Reversal, Authorization, and Settlement transactions.

• Perform Acquirer Certification Testing and validate payment scheme requirements.

• Analyze ISO 8583 messages , transaction logs, and payment processing flows.

• Validate end-to-end transactions across POS → Gateway → Acquirer → Switch → Issuer .

• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA / ALM / similar tools .

- Coordinate with development, SIT, business, and payment teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare test cases, test execution reports, defect reports, and certification documentation.

? Required Skills

✅ 5+ years of experience in POS / Payment Systems Testing

✅ Solid experience in Card & Payment Testing

✅ EMV / Chip Card Testing

✅ Contactless / NFC & Magstripe Testing

✅ Acquirer Certification Testing





✅ ISO 8583 and payment transaction messaging

✅ Knowledge of Authorization, Reversal, Refund, Void & Settlement

✅ End-to-End Payment Transaction Validation

✅ B2B & B2C Card Testing

✅ Defect Management – JIRA / ALM

✅ Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodology

? Good to Have

- Payment Gateway / Payment Switch experience
- Visa / Mastercard certification exposure
- EMV tags, cryptograms, ARQC/ARPC knowledge
- API / Web Services testing
- SQL / Database validation
- PCI DSS knowledge
