Role Description The Plumber role at Saraswati Sugar Mill Ltd is a full time, on-site position based in Yamunanagar. In this role, the plumber installs, inspects, and repairs piping systems for water supply, drainage, and industrial processes within the facility. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting leaks and blockages, performing preventive maintenance on plumbing fixtures and pipelines, and ensuring systems comply with safety and operational standards.

The plumber coordinates with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, documents work performed, and responds to service requests across the plant.



The role may involve working with industrial equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement of utility systems.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in plumbing and pipe installation, including fitting, jointing, and routing of pipelines in industrial or commercial settings.
- Demonstrated ability in maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
- Experience in routine maintenance practices, including inspections, preventive servicing, and record-keeping.
- Ability to provide professional customer service to internal stakeholders, communicate clearly, and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams.
- Relevant technical training or certification in plumbing or mechanical trades; experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage.

- Knowledge of safety standards, use of appropriate tools and protective equipment, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
