Job Summary

Nilenadi cultura private limited is looking for a skilled and responsible PLC Operator to join our Uganda Operations.

The selected candidate will undergo 1 month of technical training in Tamil Nadu, India before being deployed to Uganda. The training will focus on PLC operation, plant automation, process monitoring, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and practical plant operations.

After successful completion of the training, the candidate will be deployed to our operations in Uganda.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of PLC-based industrial automation, electrical control systems, HMI/SCADA, sensors, motors, pumps, VFDs and basic troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor PLC-based plant automation systems.
- Monitor production processes through PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
- Monitor process parameters, alarms, equipment status and production operations.
- Identify and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, sensor, electrical and control-system issues.
- Check PLC inputs/outputs and identify basic I/O-related faults.
- Monitor and operate motors, pumps, conveyors, valves, VFDs and other automated equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of control panels and automation systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and production teams during equipment breakdowns.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper records of equipment faults, breakdowns and operational activities.
- Follow plant safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in commissioning, testing and start-up of automated equipment when required.
- Ensure smooth and continuous operation of PLC-controlled production systems.
- Report abnormal conditions and technical issues to the concerned supervisor/engineer.
- Maintain PLC programs,



backups and relevant technical documentation as instructed.

Required Technical Skills Candidates should have knowledge of:
- PLC operation and basic PLC programming
- HMI / SCADA systems
- Electrical control panels
- PLC Inputs & Outputs (I/O)
- Sensors and field instruments
- Motors and pumps
- VFD / Variable Frequency Drives
- Relays, contactors and control circuits
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Industrial automation systems
- Basic understanding of PLC communication systems

Knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron or similar PLC platforms will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics or related technical fields.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on industrial experience may also be considered.

Experience
- 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with robust practical knowledge of PLC and industrial automation may also be considered.
- Experience in manufacturing, process plants, fertilizer/chemical plants, batching plants, food processing or other industrial automation environments will be an advantage.

Training & Deployment1 Month Training – Tamil Nadu, India Selected candidates will undergo 1 month of company-provided technical training in Tamil Nadu before deployment.

- Electrical and automation systems
- VFD and motor control
- Sensors and instrumentation
- Equipment troubleshooting
- Plant safety procedures
- Practical hands-on operation





Training Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month Upon successful completion of the training, the candidate will be deployed to Uganda for plant operations.

Compensation & Benefits – Uganda

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month In addition to the salary, the company will provide:

Candidate Requirements
- Strong practical and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in Uganda for long-term overseas operations.
- Willingness to undergo 1 month of training in Tamil Nadu before deployment.
- Ability to work in a plant/industrial environment.
- Valuable discipline and responsibility towards plant operations.
- Ability to work effectively with electrical, mechanical and production teams.
- Basic spoken English is preferred.
- Must be willing to follow company safety rules and operational procedures.

Important Information This position is specifically for our Uganda Operations.

Candidates must be willing to:

- Attend the mandatory 1-month training program in Tamil Nadu, India.
- Successfully complete the training and technical assessment.
- Relocate to Uganda after successful completion of training.
- Work in Uganda as per company operational requirements.

Salary Structure During Training in India: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month

After Deployment to Uganda: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000/month

Uganda → India Return Flight: Company Sponsored once every 2 years
