Role Description The PLC Programmer will work full time on-site at Snoox Automation Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi, focusing on the design, development, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems for industrial automation projects.

Responsibilities include programming PLCs, configuring HMI and SCADA interfaces, integrating AC drives and motion control systems, and conducting system testing and troubleshooting at client locations. The role involves interpreting electrical and process control schematics, collaborating with design and field teams, preparing technical documentation, and supporting installation, start-up, and maintenance activities.



The PLC Programmer will also assist in optimizing existing automation solutions, ensuring system reliability, and adhering to safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in PLC programming and configuration (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or similar platforms); ability to develop ladder logic, function block, and structured text programs.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration, including screen design, tag management, alarms, data logging, and user interface optimization.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP), and familiarity with integrating AC drives and motion control systems.
- Competence in interpreting P&ID; diagrams, electrical drawings, and process control schematics, with a solid understanding of instrumentation and control concepts.
- Ability to conduct in office commissioning, testing, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance for automation systems in industrial environments.
- Good documentation skills for creating PLC logic descriptions, operating manuals, test reports, and technical support materials.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and field service teams.
- Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
