About The Job:

- We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Platform Security Engineer (L1 Support) to join our cybersecurity team.

- The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA) platforms, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, Email Security solutions, and basic knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VA/PT).

- This is a frontline support role responsible for monitoring security tools, handling alerts, and assisting in the protection of enterprise infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 support for platform security tools including Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA), DLP, and email security.

- Monitor and troubleshoot user access and traffic issues via the Zscaler platform.

- Investigate and triage alerts related to data loss prevention and assist in applying corrective actions.

- Support basic email security investigations such as spam, phishing, or blocked attachments.

- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and track incidents as per defined processes.

- Monitor security dashboards and ensure alerts are handled within SLAs.

- Assist in the preparation of daily/weekly reports and maintain proper documentation of incidents.





- Support the vulnerability management team with initial log collection and ticketing related to VA/PT.

- Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to knowledge base updates.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills

- Proficiency in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) – management and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and policy handling.

- Experience with Email Security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, or Mimecast.

- Familiarity with Vulnerability Assessment / Penetration Testing (VA/PT) basics.

- Exposure to incident management or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
