Description

JD – Power BI Developer (with ServiceNow Domain Exposure)

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize complex Power BI reports and dashboards as part of the migration project.
- Lead the transition of Tableau reports to Power BI, ensuring functional and performance parity.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore leads to align with technical and architectural designs.
- Mentor Power BI developers and ensure development quality, coding standards, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues, including data refresh and performance optimization.
- Report progress, risks, and challenges to the Project Manager and coordinate with client stakeholders.




- (Preferred) Work with ServiceNow data sources such as ITSM, CMDB, and ITAM modules to build analytics dashboards for IT operations.

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5–7 years of strong, relevant Power BI development experience, including dashboard/report migration projects.
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modelling, Row-level Security, and visualization best practices.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Tableau systems (good to have).
- Awareness of AI tools and emerging analytics trends; ability to leverage them for delivery acceleration.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality outputs at speed.

Preferred – ServiceNow Domain Knowledge (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to any one or more of the following is an added advantage:

- Basic understanding of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service

Request).

- Familiarity with CMDB structure, CI classes, and dependency relationships.
- Knowledge of ITAM (Hardware/Software Asset Management) data models.
- Exposure to SPM (Service Portfolio Management) or service catalog structures.




- Ability to interpret ServiceNow export files/APIs for building operational dashboards in Power BI.
