Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automotive plastic trim components for interior and exterior applications.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
- Develop production-ready plastic components considering DFM, DFA, GD&T;, tooling, and manufacturing requirements.
- Interpret styling requirements and convert design concepts into feasible engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with styling, tooling, CAE, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support prototype development, design validation, testing, and production release activities.
- Identify and resolve design, manufacturability, and tooling-related issues.
- Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, engineering standards, and industry best practices.




- Participate in design reviews and implement engineering changes as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–7 years of relevant experience in Automotive Plastic Trim Design.
- Experience working on OEM or Tier-1 automotive projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6 and automotive plastic component development is required.
