Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager / Production Manager to manage the setup, commissioning, and operations of a chemical blending facility manufacturing specialty chemical products.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage chemical blending, production, packaging, storage, and dispatch operations.
- Lead plant setup, commissioning, trial batches, and production planning.
- Ensure compliance with approved formulations, SOPs, quality, and safety standards.
- Monitor production targets, yield, wastage, downtime, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other internal teams.
- Lead and manage production teams across shifts.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and EHS compliance.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- 8–10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or formulation-based industries.
- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or production management role.
- Experience in chemical blending, specialty chemicals, detergents, surfactants, lubricants, or related industries preferred.
- Robust knowledge of production operations, EHS, quality systems, and team management.
- Plant setup or commissioning experience will be an added advantage.
