About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Head to lead and manage the placement activities for our skill development training programs under DDU GKY 2.0. The candidate will be responsible for achieving placement targets, building strong relationships with employers, organizing recruitment drives, coordinating interviews, and ensuring successful placement of trained candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement an effective placement strategy to achieve project placement targets.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with companies, employers, HR teams, and industry partners.
- Identify suitable employment opportunities for trained candidates across relevant sectors.
- Develop new employer networks and establish long-term placement partnerships.
- Organize campus placement drives, job fairs, recruitment drives, and employer interviews.
- Coordinate with employers for job requirements, vacancies, interview schedules, and selection processes.
- Ensure candidates are properly prepared for interviews and employment opportunities.
- Coordinate with trainers, Center Managers, mobilization teams, and project management for placement activities.
- Track candidate-wise placement status from interview to joining.
- Maintain accurate placement records, employer databases, offer letters, joining proofs, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure placement-related MIS and reports are updated and submitted on time.




- Monitor placement targets and take corrective action where performance is below expectations.
- Follow up with placed candidates and employers to verify joining and retention.
- Support candidates with interview preparation, resume preparation, communication skills, and workplace readiness.
- Conduct employer feedback and candidate feedback to improve placement outcomes.
- Ensure placement documentation complies with project guidelines and applicable SOPs.
- Support inspections, audits, and third-party assessments related to placement activities.
- Regularly report placement progress, challenges, and achievements to the Project Manager/State Head.
- Travel locally and to nearby locations for employer meetings, job fairs, and placement activities as required.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related field will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in placement, recruitment, business development, HR, or skill-development projects.
- Prior experience in DDU-GKY, Skill India, NSDC, PMKVY, or similar government-funded skill-development projects will be preferred.
- Proven experience in employer engagement and candidate placement.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes and industry requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation,



and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel for MIS and reporting.
- Ability to work with placement targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Hindi and the local employment ecosystem will be preferred.

The candidate must be capable of developing new employer relationships and converting job opportunities into successful candidate placements. Experience in managing placement activities for government-funded skill-development projects will be an added advantage.
