Role Description The Piping Design Engineer will work in a full-time hybrid role based in Noida, with a combination of on-site work and some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing piping layouts and designs, preparing 2D and 3D drawings, and ensuring that piping systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves performing basic stress analysis, coordinating with mechanical and process engineers, and integrating piping designs with associated equipment.

The engineer will review technical specifications, support installation and commissioning activities,



and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and optimize system performance. Documentation, design reviews, and adherence to project schedules and budgets are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Piping Design and Piping layout for industrial or process plants.
- Candidates should possess skills in Stress Analysis and familiarity with piping codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and an understanding of fluid and thermal systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge related to Petroleum or process industries, or experience in similar heavy industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD/software tools used for piping design (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and capability to manage multiple tasks within project timelines.
