Role Description The Pilot Plant (Production Supervisor) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the pilot plant and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities. The role includes planning and executing production batches, monitoring process parameters, coordinating raw material availability, and supervising plant operators and technical staff.

The supervisor will implement and maintain standard operating procedures, support technology transfer from R&D; to pilot scale,



and assist in process optimization and scale-up for commercial manufacturing. Daily responsibilities involve maintaining quality standards, ensuring adherence to HSE guidelines, managing documentation and production records, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as R&D;, quality assurance, and maintenance. The role also requires proactive identification of process issues, troubleshooting operational problems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with company objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production supervision and pilot plant operation skills, including batch planning, resource allocation, and team leadership in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in process monitoring and optimization, such as understanding reaction parameters, scale-up principles, and technology transfer from lab to plant.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality and compliance, including familiarity with SOPs, GMP or equivalent standards, documentation practices, and internal audit support.
- Candidates should possess skills in health, safety, and environment (HSE), including safe handling of chemicals, adherence to safety protocols, and incident reporting and prevention.
