Role Description This is a full-time remote PHP Developer role at PPStack. The PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications and services that power PPStack’s e-learning platforms and digital solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient PHP code, integrating APIs, working with databases, and optimizing application performance and security. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement recent features, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve user experience. The PHP Developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong PHP development skills, including experience with modern PHP frameworks (such as Laravel or Symfony) and object-oriented programming.
- Candidates should possess web development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with responsive and cross-browser design practices.
- Candidates should possess database skills, including experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and basic database design.
- Candidates should possess skills in API development and integration, including RESTful services, authentication mechanisms, and JSON/XML data handling.
- Candidates should possess version control and collaboration skills, including proficiency with Git, code reviews, and working in agile or iterative development environments.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure application reliability and security.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams and document technical solutions clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in EdTech or building learning platforms is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices is beneficial.
