About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our dynamic product team at InfoNix WebLab. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Navalur, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, particularly with CodeIgniter frameworks, and experience working with high-performance MySQL databases and API integrations.

Additionally, exposure to AI-assisted development tools, automation, or integrations is highly desirable. As a PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our B2B SaaS platform, ensuring it remains efficient, scalable, and innovative by applying AI tools to enhance development workflows and product features.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in PHP development, with expertise in CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4)
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database schema design and optimization
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and AJAX for seamless integrations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of AI-assisted development tools and automation processes (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain modules for a live B2B SaaS platform, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance platform capabilities
- Optimize database schemas and queries to improve system efficiency
- Apply AI tools and automation techniques to streamline development processes and improve product features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and application stability
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, especially in AI and automation, to incorporate best practices into development
- Ensure timely delivery of features and updates in accordance with project timelines
