Job Summary The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective Mathematics lessons for students at the secondary and senior-secondary levels. The teacher will focus on developing students' conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while following the CBSE curriculum and the academic standards of Akal Academy.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver well-structured Mathematics lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach Mathematics concepts clearly using appropriate examples, activities, demonstrations, and technology.
- Develop students' logical, analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, projects, and other teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, examinations, and remedial sessions.
- Evaluate students' academic performance and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Identify students' learning difficulties and provide appropriate remedial and individual support.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations and other academic assessments.
- Encourage students to participate actively in classroom discussions, mathematical activities, and problem-solving exercises.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and guide them towards continuous academic improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress whenever required.
- Participate in staff meetings,



teacher-training programmes, workshops, examinations, and school events.
- Contribute to the school's co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Perform duties assigned by the Principal or academic coordinator.
- Maintain professional conduct and support the school's educational and value-based objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics/Mathematics-related field from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Mathematics curriculum.
- Positive communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.
- Good command of English for classroom instruction.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly at the secondary/senior-secondary level, will be an advantage.
