We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Lead with solid hands-on expertise in LoadRunner and JMeter. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for enterprise applications and providing technical leadership to the performance testing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end performance testing activities, including planning, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.

- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Micro Focus/OpenText LoadRunner and Apache JMeter.

- Design workload models, test scenarios, and performance test strategies based on business requirements.

- Execute Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance/Soak, and Scalability testing.

- Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks across application, database, API, and infrastructure layers.

- Monitor system performance using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools.

- Work closely with development, architecture, database, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis and provide recommendations for performance optimization.

- Prepare performance test plans, scripts, execution reports, dashboards, and bottleneck analysis reports.

- Define performance benchmarks, SLAs, workload distribution, and acceptance criteria.

- Lead performance test execution and provide status updates to project stakeholders.

- Review performance scripts and test results and provide technical guidance to team members.

- Mentor junior performance engineers and drive best practices across performance testing activities.

Required Skills





- 810 years of experience in Performance Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner – VuGen, Controller, and Analysis.

- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.

- Experience in scripting using C, Java, JavaScript, or BeanShell.

- Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, Web Services, and database performance testing.

- Experience in correlation, parameterization, scripting, workload modeling, and test execution.

- Strong understanding of performance metrics such as response time, throughput, TPS, concurrency, CPU, memory, and resource utilization.

- Good experience in analyzing performance bottlenecks and identifying root causes.

- Experience working with SQL/Oracle/SQL Server for database validation and performance analysis.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.

- Knowledge of Selenium/API testing is an advantage.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.

- Experience integrating performance tests with Jenkins/Azure DevOps.

- Banking/Financial Services domain experience is preferred.
