About the Role

Infozeb Consultancy Private Limited is looking for an experienced PCB Designer to join our hardware engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, and debugging printed circuit boards across a range of electronics products. You will work closely with firmware and electronics engineers to take products from schematic to production-ready hardware.

Key Responsibilities

- Design multi-layer PCBs for a range of electronics products
- Create schematics and layouts using KiCad (or equivalent EDA tools)
- Design and review isolation barriers and signal conditioning circuits
- Perform ground plane planning, impedance-controlled routing, and EMI/EMC-conscious layout practices
- Work on power supply designs and driver circuits
- Debug hardware issues at board level using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab equipment
- Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware-software integration
- Support communication interfaces such as CAN, RS485, SPI, and other protocols
- Prepare Gerbers, BOMs, and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors,



and support bring-up and testing of prototypes
- Continuously improve design practices for reliability, cost, and manufacturability

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in PCB design (schematic capture + layout)
- Proficiency in KiCad, Altium, or Eagle
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals
- Experience with power electronics circuits (DC-DC converters, power supplies, driver circuits)
- Working knowledge of impedance control, signal integrity, and multi-layer stack-up design
- Familiarity with communication protocols: CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART
- Experience with EMI/EMC design considerations and isolation techniques (e.g., digital isolators)
- Ability to read datasheets and apply component selection based on electrical/thermal requirements

Good to Have
- Experience with thermal analysis and enclosure/mechanical coordination
- Familiarity with embedded firmware basics (to collaborate effectively with firmware teams)
- Experience with compliance/certification processes (CE, BIS, etc.)
