Role Description The Payroll Operations role at Imarticus Learning Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including data collection, validation, and timely disbursement of salaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering payroll systems, handling statutory deductions, coordinating with HR and Finance for employee changes, and ensuring accurate maintenance of payroll records.

The position requires monitoring payroll taxes, statutory compliances, benefits, and garnishments, as well as resolving employee payroll queries in a skilled and timely manner.



The payroll professional will also support audits, generate payroll reports, and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration for end-to-end salary management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Payroll Taxes and Payroll Services to ensure statutory compliance and accurate remittances.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Garnishments and related regulations to manage deductions correctly.
- Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS tools, and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory contributions (PF, ESIC, PT), and payroll-related regulations.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work with confidential information responsibly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with HR, Finance, and employees across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field; prior experience in payroll operations is preferred.
