About the Role

Shara Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced PCB Component Procurement Specialist with solid knowledge of electronic components and hands-on experience in procurement of components for PCB manufacturing and PCBA projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of active and passive electronic components, be capable of independently handling BOM procurement, supplier development, price negotiation, purchase management, and sourcing of components while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

This position requires a commercially strong professional who can build and maintain relationships with component distributors, manufacturers, authorized suppliers, and reliable sourcing partners.

Key Responsibilities1. Electronic Component Procurement

- Independently manage procurement of electronic components as per customer BOMs and project requirements.
- Procure active and passive electronic components, including ICs, microcontrollers, processors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, transistors, regulators, connectors, resistors, capacitors, inductors, crystals, relays, switches, sensors, and other PCB components.
- Review BOMs and identify component specifications, manufacturers, part numbers, package types, quantities, and availability.
- Source components through authorized distributors, manufacturers, stockists, and reliable suppliers.
- Handle prototype, low-volume, and production-volume component requirements.

1. BOM Management & Purchase

- Analyze customer BOMs and prepare component sourcing requirements.
- Obtain and compare multiple supplier quotations.
- Prepare cost comparison and supplier evaluation sheets.
- Generate Purchase Orders and coordinate the complete purchase cycle.
- Track order confirmations, lead times, dispatches, deliveries, and pending quantities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and component purchase history.




- Coordinate with the engineering and production teams regarding component availability and alternatives.

1. Supplier Management & Networking

- Develop and maintain a strong network of electronic component suppliers and distributors.
- Identify new and reliable sources for difficult-to-procure and obsolete components.
- Build long-term relationships with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and priority allocation.
- Maintain an updated supplier database with component categories, pricing, lead times, MOQ and payment terms.
- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, authenticity, lead time, reliability and service.

1. Price Negotiation & Cost Optimization

- Negotiate aggressively and professionally with suppliers to achieve the best possible commercial terms.
- Compare market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing based on quantity, annual volume, lead time, payment terms and repeat business.
- Identify alternate manufacturers and equivalent components wherever technically acceptable.
- Support the company in achieving target BOM cost and project margins.

1. Component Knowledge & Verification

- Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
- Understand datasheets, manufacturer part numbers, package types and component specifications.
- Verify supplier quotations against the actual BOM requirements.
- Identify incorrect, obsolete, discontinued, duplicate or potentially unsuitable components.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for technical approval of alternate components.
- Ensure procurement of genuine and specification-compliant components.

1. Inventory & Delivery Coordination

- Monitor component stock levels and upcoming project requirements.
- Coordinate with stores and production teams for material receipt and shortages.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.




- Identify potential supply-chain risks and proactively arrange alternatives.
- Minimize excess inventory, shortages and procurement delays.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electronic component procurement/purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of PCB electronic components – both active and passive.
- Practical experience in BOM-based component sourcing and purchasing.
- Strong supplier network within the electronics/component procurement industry.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and price finalization.
- Good understanding of component manufacturers and distributors.
- Ability to identify alternate sources and equivalent components.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and procurement documentation.
- Good communication, follow-up and vendor-management skills.
- Strong commercial understanding and negotiation capability.
- Ability to independently manage procurement activities with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
