Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Payroll

Manager will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements for all employees in compliance with statutory and organizational policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, validating inputs from HR and Finance, managing payroll taxes and deductions, handling garnishments, and coordinating employee benefits-related payments.



The role involves preparing payroll reports, reconciling payroll data, supporting audits, and responding to employee queries regarding compensation, deductions, and benefits.

The Payroll

Manager will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and leadership to improve payroll processes, support policy implementation, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management for handling end-to-end payroll processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Payroll Taxes and Garnishments to ensure accurate statutory deductions and compliance.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Employee Benefits to coordinate benefits-related payouts and payroll integrations.
- Relevant experience in payroll operations, preferably in medium to large organizations; familiarity with Indian payroll regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel; strong analytical, numerical accuracy, and data validation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in payroll or HR are an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple stakeholders.
