About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Compliance Executive to manage monthly payroll processing and statutory compliance activities for a large workforce deployed across multiple client sites.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, attendance and wage reconciliation, statutory deductions, compliance documentation, and coordination with internal teams, employees, clients, and statutory authorities.
Key Responsibilities1. Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for employees deployed across multiple sites.
- Collect and verify attendance, deployment, overtime, weekly-off and leave data.
- Reconcile attendance with payroll inputs before salary processing.
- Calculate wages, overtime, allowances, deductions, LOP and other payroll components.
- Process salary revisions, arrears, incentives, advances and recoveries.
- Ensure accurate calculation of EPF, ESI, PT, LWF and other applicable deductions.
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll registers and salary statements.
- Generate salary slips and resolve employee payroll-related queries.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for timely salary disbursement.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee salary information.
1. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance under applicable labour and employment laws.
- Handle monthly EPF and ESI compliance, including contribution calculations and reconciliation.
- Maintain statutory registers, records and challans.
- Assist in Bonus, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and Minimum Wages compliance, wherever applicable.
- Support compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA) and applicable state labour laws.
- Ensure compliance related to wages, working hours, overtime,
weekly offs and leave.
- Track statutory due dates and ensure timely submission/payment of returns and challans.
- Coordinate with labour consultants, statutory authorities and client compliance teams when required.
1. Security Workforce Compliance
- Verify payroll data for guards, supervisors and other site-deployed employees.
- Coordinate with site HR/operations teams regarding joining, deployment, attendance and salary inputs.
- Monitor employee movement between sites and ensure payroll records are updated accordingly.
- Reconcile deployed manpower with payroll records.
- Verify wage rates against applicable minimum wage notifications and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing manpower and compliance documents required by clients during audits.
1. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly payroll MIS and management reports.
- Prepare EPF/ESI reconciliation reports.
- Prepare headcount, deployment, absenteeism and wage reports.
- Maintain compliance trackers and identify pending/overdue activities.
- Prepare client-wise/site-wise payroll and compliance reports.
- Support HR analytics and management dashboards.
1. Audit & Documentation
- Maintain accurate employee and statutory records.
- Support internal, client and statutory audits.
- Provide required payroll and compliance documents during audits.
- Identify discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Maintain proper documentation of challans, returns,
registers, notices and correspondence.
1. Employee Support
- Resolve employee queries relating to salary, deductions, EPF, ESI and other payroll matters.
- Assist employees with EPF/UAN, ESI and other statutory-related queries.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution of payroll issues.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Payroll Processing and Statutory Compliance.
- Working knowledge of EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, LWF and CLRA.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables and basic data reconciliation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle large-volume employee data.
- Good understanding of attendance-to-payroll processes.
- Strong documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Ability to work under strict payroll deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in HR, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- PG Diploma/MBA in HR will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in Security Services, Facility Management, BPO, Manpower Outsourcing or Contract Labour will be preferred.
- Experience handling payroll for 1,000+ employees will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
