We are looking for a professional who can independently handle the complete patent lifecycle, from patent searches and strategy to prosecution, enforcement and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

- Patentability / prior-art searches and analysis

- Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) searches and opinions

- Patent drafting and filing before the Indian Patent Office

- Patent prosecution, including FER responses, hearings and amendments

- Patent oppositions, revocation proceedings and related litigation

- Patent infringement analysis and enforcement strategy

- Patent portfolio management and strategic IP advisory

- Patent prosecution and filing strategies in India and, where required, international jurisdictions

- Client advisory on patent strategy, protection and enforcement

- Coordination with inventors, technical teams, foreign associates and counsel

What Were Looking For





- Registered Indian Patent Agent with a valid Patent Agent Registration

- Strong experience in patent searches, drafting, prosecution and contentious matters

- Ability to independently analyse complex technologies and prior art

- Experience in FTO searches and preparing substantive FTO opinions

- Exposure to patent litigation, enforcement and/or opposition proceedings will be an advantage

- Robust legal and technical research and drafting skills

- Ability to manage patent portfolios and handle client-facing responsibilities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strategic, commercial and solution-oriented approach to IP matters.
