Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paramedic role based in Varanasi. The Paramedic will provide pre-hospital emergency care, including assessing patients, performing basic and advanced life support procedures, and stabilizing individuals during transport to medical facilities.

Daily responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, operating and maintaining ambulances and equipment, documenting patient assessments and interventions, and coordinating with physicians and nurses for ongoing care. The role also involves maintaining readiness of emergency supplies, following clinical protocols and safety standards,



and communicating clearly with patients, families, and other medical staff.

Qualifications

- Relevant paramedic or emergency medical technician (EMT) certification from a recognized institution.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, basic and advanced life support, and emergency intervention procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and ambulances safely and efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, first aid, CPR, and trauma care protocols.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Capacity to remain calm, make sound decisions, and prioritize care in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and stamina to lift, move, and transport patients safely.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by emergency service operations.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Prior experience in emergency medical services or hospital-based acute care is an advantage.
