Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Panchakarma Therapist to assist in providing Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies and patient care under the supervision of Ayurvedic doctors. The candidate will be responsible for preparing patients, performing assigned therapies, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring a comfortable patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Panchakarma procedures as prescribed by the Ayurvedic physician.
- Assist in therapies such as Abhyanga, Swedana, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Greeva Basti, Nasya support and other prescribed procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, medicines, oils, equipment and other materials before procedures.
- Follow doctors' instructions regarding dosage, duration and procedure protocols.
- Monitor patients during and after therapy and report any discomfort or unusual symptoms to the concerned doctor.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper sanitization of therapy rooms and equipment.
- Maintain patient treatment records and daily therapy logs.
- Handle Ayurvedic oils, medicines and therapy equipment safely.
- Provide basic guidance to patients regarding post-therapy care as instructed by the doctor.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other Panchakarma staff for smooth patient care.
- Follow hospital policies, patient-safety protocols and professional standards.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma/Certificate in Panchakarma Therapy / Ayurvedic Panchakarma preferred.
- Candidates with Ayurvedic Nursing/Panchakarma training may also be considered.
- Relevant practical experience in an Ayurvedic hospital or Panchakarma centre will be an advantage.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; freshers with proper Panchakarma training may also apply.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in Panchakarma therapies will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of basic Panchakarma procedures.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to follow doctors' instructions accurately.
- Valuable hygiene and cleanliness practices.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing therapy procedures.
- Courteous, disciplined and patient-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a hospital/clinical environment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
