Packing (OSD): Apprentice
- cGMP & Safety Fundamentals: Undergo baseline training on current Positive Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), shop-floor safety, personal hygiene, and solid dosage packaging hall discipline.
- Packaging Line Support: Assist senior machine operators in assembling, preparing, and operating primary (blister, strip, bottle) and secondary (cartoning, shipper) packaging lines.
- Packaging Material Handling: Learn to receive, verify, and transport packaging materials (aluminum/PVC foils, cartons, leaflets, shippers) from staging areas to packaging lines.
- Line Clearance Assistance: Support step-by-step line clearance activities, equipment surface wiping, and packaging bay cleaning during product or batch changeovers.
- Visual Inspection Practice: Assist in performing manual visual inspection routines on finished packs to identify defects like broken tablets, loose seals, damaged cartons, or print smudges.
- In-Process Check Assistance:
Observe and help conduct routine in-process quality checks, including leak testing (vacuum decay) for blisters/strips and carton overprint verification.
- Machine Cleaning & Maintenance: Help disassemble, clean, and store line changeover parts, guide tracks, and feeding hoppers under operator guidance.
- Logbook & Record Entry Learning: Learn to read room status boards and assist in recording real-time entries in machine operational logbooks following ALCOA+ rules.
- Housekeeping & 5S Maintenance: Maintain general order, line cleanroom conditions, and workplace organization following established 5S standards.
- SOP & Integrity Awareness: Attend regular on-the-job training sessions covering packaging Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and data integrity expectations.
