We are seeking a highly skilled Palantir Administrator & Support Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in enterprise platform administration, application support, data operations, and user management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting Palantir Foundry environments, ensuring platform stability, security, performance, and seamless business operations for U.S.-based customers. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, stakeholder communication, and experience supporting production-critical data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Palantir Platform Administration

- Administer and maintain Palantir Foundry environments, including user access, permissions, groups, and workspace management.
- Configure and manage platform security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Monitor platform health, system performance, and resource utilization.
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance activities.
- Manage data integrations, pipelines, and workflow configurations within Foundry.

Production Support & Operations

- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for Palantir applications, data pipelines, and platform services.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor system alerts, logs, and dashboards to proactively identify issues.
- Coordinate with development, data engineering, and business teams to resolve operational challenges.

User & Stakeholder Support

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Palantir platform users.
- Support onboarding, user provisioning, and access management requests.
- Conduct user training sessions and create support documentation.




- Gather business requirements and translate them into platform support solutions.
- Provide regular status updates to customers and leadership teams.

Data Operations & Governance

- Monitor data ingestion processes and ensure data quality across pipelines.
- Support metadata management, lineage tracking, and governance initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting ETL/ELT workflows and integration issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance policies.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

- Develop automation scripts for routine administrative and support activities.
- Create monitoring dashboards and operational reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and operational readiness activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Palantir Expertise

- 5–8 years of IT experience with at least 2+ years supporting or administering Palantir Foundry environments.
- Hands-on experience with Foundry administration, data pipelines, workflows, and ontology concepts.
- Experience managing user roles, permissions, security policies, and access controls.
- Understanding of Foundry operational monitoring and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

- Robust SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Python, Shell Scripting, or automation tools.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and system administration fundamentals.
- Understanding of APIs, REST services, and integration frameworks.

Support & Operations

- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
- Strong incident, problem, and change management experience.
