Job Summary
- Responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow Operational Technology Service Management (OTSM) solutions to streamline OT incident, change, request, and knowledge management processes. The role collaborates with IT, OT, manufacturing, plant operations teams to improve operational efficiency, asset visibility, and service delivery across industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ServiceNow OTSM modules and related workflows.
- Design and maintain OT Incident Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management processes.
- Gather business requirements from OT, manufacturing, plant, and operations teams and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, integrations, and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Integrate OTSM with CMDB, ITSM, monitoring tools, industrial systems, and external applications.
- Support OT asset lifecycle management and ensure accurate operational asset data.
- Create reports, dashboards, and KPIs for operational performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing platform support.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL, cybersecurity, and OT governance standards.
- Participate in upgrades, enhancements, testing, and release management activities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with OTSM, ITSM, CMDB, and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management processes.
- Experience with JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT), Manufacturing Operations, or Industrial IoT environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications.
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
Experience
- 3–8+ years of ServiceNow experience.
- Experience implementing or supporting OT/IT service management solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise integrations, CMDB, and asset management.
