Role & Responsibilities

- Architect and optimize enterprise-grade Oracle RDBMS environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and fault tolerance across hybrid and cloud deployments.
- Lead design and implementation of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and GoldenGate replication topologies for high-availability and disaster recovery.
- Define and enforce database governance, security policies, backup/recovery strategies, and patching standards aligned with enterprise compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to integrate Oracle databases with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes,



and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Perform root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks, design tuning strategies, and mentor junior DBAs on best practices for SQL optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
- Own documentation of architecture blueprints, operational runbooks, and migration playbooks for Oracle-to-Cloud (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL DB) transitions.
