Job Title: Support Executive

Skills Required: Oracle DBA-RAC

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Installation and Configuration

Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases (including various versions like 11g, 12c, 19c) in both standalone and RAC environments.

Set up and manage Oracle Clusterware components for RAC.

High Availability and Disaster Recovery:

Implement and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for high availability and load balancing.

Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and standby database environments.

Perform and test database backup and recovery procedures using RMAN.

Performance Tuning and Optimization

Monitor database performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other tools.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through SQL tuning, instance tuning, and system-level optimizations.

Manage database capacity and resource utilization.

Maintenance and Support

Perform regular database patching, upgrades, and migrations.

Troubleshoot complex database, application, and RAC-related issues.





Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (Shell, PL/SQL)

Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems as needed.

Security and Compliance

Implement and maintain database security policies, user access controls, and data protection measures.

Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Collaboration and Documentation

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams for performance tuning, issue resolution, and current technology deployments.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architecture, processes, and configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Extensive experience with Oracle database administration, including advanced knowledge of RAC.

Proficiency in Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c) and related tools (OEM, Data Guard, RMAN).

Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.

Experience with scripting languages (Shell, PL/SQL).

Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance requirements.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
