Role Description The Operator Capsule Machine role is a full time, on-site position based at our manufacturing facility in Jammu. The operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring capsule-filling machines according to standard operating procedures and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and loading raw materials, adjusting machine parameters, performing in-process quality checks, and documenting batch information accurately.

The role also involves basic troubleshooting, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety, hygiene, and GMP guidelines.



The operator collaborates with production and quality teams to meet output targets while ensuring consistent product quality.

Qualifications

- Experience operating capsule-filling or similar pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery, with understanding of machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and quality control procedures in a regulated production environment.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, production records, and batch documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic technical and mechanical aptitude, including comfort with routine equipment cleaning, minor adjustments, and maintenance checks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Ability to work on-site in Jammu in a shift-based environment, collaborate effectively with team members, and follow supervisory guidance.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, manage repetitive tasks, and handle materials within standard safety limits.
