Role Description The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day showroom and project operations, ensuring smooth coordination between design, production, installation, and customer service. This full-time role involves managing project timelines, tracking orders, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and supervising site execution for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture installations.

The Operations

Manager will monitor inventory and material flows, maintain quality and safety standards, and resolve operational issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The role also includes supporting client communication on project status, aligning internal resources, and optimizing processes for efficiency and cost control. This is an on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular presence at the showroom and project locations.

Qualifications

- Experience in operations management,



preferably in interior design, furniture, construction, or related project-based environments.
- Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring timely procurement and execution.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking tools) and comfort with learning industry-specific systems.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and familiarity with modular furniture or branded hardware (e.g., HETTICH, HAFELE, BLUM, GRASS) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle client updates, negotiate with suppliers, and lead staff.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges and make decisions under time constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute formal education.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad on a full-time basis and visit project sites as required.
