Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Coonoor, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across production, inventory, and logistics. This role coordinates with manufacturing partners and internal teams to ensure watch production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

The Operations

Manager monitors workflows, implements process improvements, manages vendor relationships, and maintains documentation related to supply chain, procurement, and compliance. The individual collaborates closely with leadership to align operational plans with business goals, supports budgeting and resource allocation,



and provides regular reporting on operational performance. This role also involves leading and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, consumer goods, or a similar product-focused environment.
- Robust skills in process optimization, workflow planning, and resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain activities, including vendor coordination, inventory control, and logistics oversight.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools to track key performance indicators and support informed decision-making.
- Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor team members and build collaborative working relationships.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort working on-site in Coonoor and partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as production, design, and finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Interest in watchmaking, craftsmanship, or design-driven brands is highly beneficial and aligns well with the company’s culture.
