About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, result-driven, and highly skilled Operations Manager to lead daily operations across our bar-attached hotel properties in and around Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep operational knowledge of Food & Beverage (F&B;) and beverage/bar operations, strict inventory control capabilities, and excellent crisis management skills.

Key Responsibilities

● Property & F&B; Operations:

· Oversee day-to-day operations across all hotel departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B; / Bar service.

· Ensure high standards of guest service, cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction.

● Bar & Excise Management:

○ Supervise daily bar operations, pouring standards, fast table turnarounds, and billing accuracy.

○ Maintain strict adherence to Kerala State Excise regulations, statutory rules, FL-3/FL-11 licensing norms, and health/safety guidelines.

○ Implement tight inventory controls to prevent leakage, unauthorized discounts, spoilage, or stock pilferage.

● Team Leadership & Staffing:

○ Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise floor staff, bartenders, service associates, and support teams.

○ Maintain floor discipline, professional grooming standards,



and efficient shift duty rosters.

○ Handle guest complaints and de-escalate floor or crowd situations swiftly and professionally.

● Revenue & Cost Control:

○ Drive sales for both rooms and F&B;/bar outlets to achieve monthly revenue targets.

○ Conduct periodic stock audits, daily billing reconciliations, and cash/POS collections.

○ Coordinate with vendor suppliers and local agencies for seamless procurement and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

● Experience: 5+ years in Hotel/Hospitality operations, with at least 2–3 years in a Managerial / Unit Head role in a Bar-Attached Hotel or high-volume F&B; outlet.

● Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality (preferred).

● Skills:

○ Strong knowledge of Excise rules, bar inventory management, and food cost controls.

○ Proven leadership, staff management, and conflict resolution skills.

○ Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and basic MS Office/reporting.

● Languages: Fluency in Malayalam and English is mandatory; Hindi is an added advantage.

● Flexibility: Willingness to work late evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
